1. Yes, the Spice Trade changed the world by making food more tastier and more other uses. If the Europeans didn't find spices, the food they are eating would have been not tasty. So people began to search for spices around the world especially in the places near and in Indonesia.
2. The other things that Spice Trade changed the world was that spices were used for both medicinal and embalming procedures.
I like how you focused on the food aspects. Food is important. Food affects the common man, more than the "big ideas" or "big events" But you did not sight two examples from either the sides or lectures. 8/10
